William Cummins

Mr. Cummins was born in Frankfort on August 8, 1930, to the late Jimmie Cummins and Addie Bryant Cummins. He was united in marriage to his wife of 65 years, Dorothy Jean Brashear Cummins, who also preceded him in death. He was a masonry contractor, brick layer, and farmer. As a Veteran of the United States Army, he was also a lifetime member of the VFW post 4075, American Legion #7, and D.A.V. of Louisville. He was also a Kentucky Colonel.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Floyd Cummins and Lena "Sister" Elizabeth Cummins.

He is survived by his children, William C. Cummins, Jr., Jeffrey Cummins, James Alan Cummins, Tina Marie Cummins, and Cynthia Susann Rice; many grand and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
