Theodore Mason Hill Jr., 58, husband of Margaret Hill, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 after succumbing to long-term complications from a 2006 trucking accident. He was born in Lexington on August 5, 1960 to Theodore Mason Hill Sr., and the late Anna Louise Wright Hatchell. He was a proud over-the-road trucker who loved horses, John Wayne, and all things Kentucky.
The only thing he loved more than being a trucker, was being husband to his wife, Margaret. They would have celebrated 27 years of marriage on Friday, August 24.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his beloved stepdaughters, Marcie (Gary Bentley) Crim and Shannon Crim, both of Lexington; his cherished sisters, Anna Marie Hill and Michelle James, both of Frankfort; and his adored grandchildren, Brandon, Alexis (Smiley), Grace (Bright Eyes), Cadence, Clarissa, Jeffrey, and Jace.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his much loved and missed daughter, Melissa Sue Rose.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel, Frankfort. Frances Hisle will be officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Brandon Miller, Cadence Miller, Gary Bentley, Andrew Rittenberry, Horace "Doc" Garrett, and Shawn Hatchell. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd., Frankfort. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to www.oldfriendsequine.org.
