Steven Poole

Steven Lane Poole, 69, husband of Carol Jean Blume Poole, passed away on Sunday, August 29. 2021. A native of Frankfort, he was born on February 14, 1952 to the late Clyde and Betty Hudnall Poole. He retired from Buffalo Trace after 20 years of service. He enjoyed watching his sons play sports as they were growing up. He was a spectator for dirt track racing and NASCAR racing. In his younger years, he loved playing softball and bowling in several leagues. Later in life, Steven enjoyed camping and loved the game of golf.

In addition to his wife of 48 years, he is survived by his sons, Steven (Cindy) Poole, Lawrenceburg, and Robert (Lindsay) Poole, Frankfort; his sisters, Tracy (Billy) Cox, Waddy, Penny (Marty) Luttrell, Frankfort, and Donna (Ronnie) Gay, Frankfort; his brother, Jerry (Debbie) Poole, Frankfort, his grandchildren, Courtney Danielle Garrison, Christopher Scott Poole, Dakota Grace Poole, Sophie Gray Poole, Dalton Lane Poole, Andrew Chase Poole, and Kason Adam Woodson; as well as his three great grandchildren, Braeyln Garrison, Brinkley Garrison, and Bailor Woodard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Poole.

Celebration of Steven’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Bro Mike Napier officiating. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
