Stephen Watkins

Stephen L. Watkins, 73, husband of Linda Hutsen Watkins, died Sunday September 19, 2021. Born on October 4, 1947 in Lexington, he was the son of the late Elmer H. and Mary Virginia Gobber Watkins. Stephen was the owner/operator of Tri County Sweeper, a past employee of I.B.M., a graduate of Lexington Catholic High School and attended St. Peter Catholic Church. He is survived by a sister, Rosemary (Larry) Kopser; a sister-in-law, Thelma Watkins and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Watkins. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 12 p.m. Monday September 27th at St. Peter Catholic Church with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the church.
