Ronny Eaves

Ronny A. Eaves, 85, widower of Janet Eaves, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021. Born in Versailles, Kentucky on September 22, 1935 he was the son of the late William T. and Elizabeth Beatley Eaves. Ronny was a graduate of Versailles High School and served in the Untied States Army during the Korean War. He retired from the bindery at Rand McNally after 36 years of employment. Ronny was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church, an avid fisherman and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Ronny was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Janet Raye Lewis Eaves, parents, William and Elizabeth Eaves, and sister, Nellie Jo Mayes.

Ronny will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Julie Eaves Littrell, Versailles, Mitzy (Sidney) Ford, Owenton, Ronnda Allyn Fannin, Versailles, Megen R. Eaves, Versailles, grandchildren, Lynn Clark Littrell, II, Adrienne Corin (Curtis) Elder, Gina Lee Nicole (Joe) Korby, William Alan Deakins, and Rowan Azalea Eaves.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Due to government mandates those attending services must wear proper facial covering and maintain social distancing guidelines. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren, James Knox, Sidney Ford, Doug Evans, Scott Lancaster, Travis Evans, and Joe Korby
