Rodney Godby

Rodney Wayne Godby, 50, passed away Friday, June 12, 2020. A native of Frankfort, Kentucky, Rodney was born October 18, 1969 to Marlyn Godby and the late Bill Godby, and was a member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church in Midway.

In addition to his mother, Marlyn Godby, Rodney is survived by his children, Samantha Walters, IN, Jamee Godby, AZ, and Phillip Godby, Shelbyville; a brother, Bobby Joe (Jennifer) Godby, Frankfort; and grandchildren, Addilyn, Aubree and Phoenix Sexton, and Owen and Makaya Godby.

A Graveside Service will be held 4:00pm, Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort, with Rev. Todd Lester officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggestions Memorial Contributions be made to Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church, 480 Duckers Rd, Midway, KY 40347.
