Richard Cole

Versailles – Richard F. “Dick” Cole, 75, husband of Linda Carol Cole, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019. He was born in Fresno, California on August 19, 1943 to the late Richard Adrian and Elosie Cash Cole. He worked for the Federal Bureau of Corrections as a Disciplinary Hearing Office. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force and member of Pinkard Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Matthew (Laura) Cole, Versailles, Andrew (Becky) Cole, Lexington, Keith Mitchell, FL, and Stefani Mitchell, Versailles; his sister, Andrea Cole, TX; brother, Michael Cole, OK; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and his special caregivers Ron Bodager and Lisa Eads.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Zachary Mitchell.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Dr. Rick Landon will be officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Matthew Cole, Andrew Cole, Ron Bodager, Lisa Eads, Stefani Mitchell, Kevin Sexton, and Keith Mitchell. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Hospice Care of the Bluegrass, or Pinkard Baptist Church.
