He was born in Frankfort, KY on September 7, 1953 to the late Orville Lee and Ada Jones Popp. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Ginger (Mike) Hill; his son, Matthew (Kassie) Popp; and grandchildren, Kevin Hill, Jason Hill, Carter Martin, Madison Hill, Kaylie Popp and Ashlyn Popp.
