Patricia Mitchell

Patricia Ann (Gay) Mitchell, 59, of Frankfort, daughter of Shirley Bryant Gay of Lawrenceburg and the late Frank Ebben Gay, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 at her home.

Pat was born December 6, 1958 in Anderson County, KY. She was a 1976 graduate of Anderson County High School and the Sullivan University with a degree in Culinary Arts. Pat retired as a secretary with Kentucky State Government, Dept. of Medicaid and following retirement worked as a shuttle driver for Jeff Wyler's Honda in Frankfort. She was a member of the Elks Lodge #350 in Frankfort.

Including her mother, Pat is survived by her sister, Teresa Gay Hatfield (James) of Lawrenceburg; her brother, Michael David Gay (Missy) of Lawrenceburg; a niece, Bridget Michelle Gay; three nephews, Michael Adam Gay, Eric Allen Carey, and Dakota Lynn Carey; a great niece, Marianne Gay; and her beloved fur baby, Emma.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, September 10, 2018 at the Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home with Bro. George Dye and Bro. Mike Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort. Visitation will be held on Sunday form 4 - 7 PM at the funeral home.
