Michael Montgomery

Michael Montgomery, 72, husband of Wilma Kathryn Long Montgomery, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Kentucky. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on August 6, 1949, to the late Harvey Montgomery and the late Monica Aldridge Taylor (Bill Taylor). Mike was a Pharmacist and owner of the Medicine Shoppe and the Prescription Pad in Nicholasville for many years, and a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Gifford (Bryan) and Sara Ginn (David), and four grandchildren, Logan Christian, Brendan Christian, Shelby Gifford and Ali Gifford, two brothers, Jim Montgomery and Val Taylor (Teresa). Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, November 12, 2021, at St. Luke Catholic Church. Visitation will be 2-8:00 PM, Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Betts & West Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Bryan Gifford, David Ginn, Logan Christian, Brendan Christian, Chris Johns, and Mike Steinke.
