Mary Hudson

A native of Clayvillage in Shelby County she worked for Kentucky State Government, Department for Human Resources, Health Service. She was a member of Beechridge Baptist Church and enjoyed their Keenagers and WMU groups. She was currently serving as president of Christianburg Homemakers Club and on the reunion committees for Thornhill and Peaks Mill Schools and the Genesco Shoe Company and member of American Medical Records Asso. Mary Ruth was fondly known as "Nana" county wide.
She was the daughter of Mike Thomas and Virginia Fannie Caudle Rice and was preceded in death by husbands William Leslie Hudson and Charles Kenneth Miller; brother's Billy Dare and Paul "Tater" Wilburn Rice.
Survivors include daughter, Paula Cissell, Shelbyville, son Les (Laura) Hudson, Versailles, sister Marie (Homer) Bryant, Clay City; grandchildren Jennifer Nation (Michael) Peach, Gabi Cissell; great grandson Evan Peach.
