Mary Brophy Roberts

Mary Louise Brophy Roberts, 87, widow of Julian Heath Roberts, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. She was born in Millville on January 14, 1933 to the late Jesse Massie and Hallie Barker Brophy. She retired from Buffalo Trace Distillery in 1995 after 191/2 years. She was the past president of VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 4075, member of the Senior Citizens and Flying Solo. Mary loved spending time with her family and friends, playing bingo and embroidery. She moved to Lexington to Sayre Christian Village in 2016.

She is survived by her children, Gary Heath Roberts, Frankfort, Henry Phillip (Nancy) Roberts, Frankfort, and Keta Denice (Mike) Angelucci, Lexington; her sister, Dorothy Gordon, Pueblo CO; her grandchildren, Tonya Michele (Darren) Tippett, Lexington, Aaron Earl (Kelly) Graham, Vancouver, Rebecca Lynn Roberts, Frankfort, Joshua (Nick) Roberts, Louisville, and Jamie Heath Roberts, Frankfort; her great grandchildren, Nolan Graham Tippett, Hayley Roberts, Ethan Roberts, Kortney Christensen, Dakota Christensen, Madison Christensen, and Miya Roberts; and her step-grandchildren, Sarah Angelucci, Rachel Angelucci.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Edward Brophy, Forrest Brophy, Dallas Brophy, Steward Brophy, Henry Brophy, Raymond Brophy, Revel Brophy, and Katherine Taylor.

Private services will be held at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Chaplain Tyler Greene officiating. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 12:00pm on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
