Marilyn Hendren

Marilyn Sue Hendren, age 74, passed away at home on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Services will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017, with Rev. Steve Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2017.

Mrs. Hendren was born in Powell County, Kentucky on January 7, 1943 to the late Thomas Marshal Hatton and Dorothy McNabb Sams. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Charles Ronnie Hendren, of Frankfort. She retired from Bendix Corporation.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Marsha Kemp, Marshall Gaines (Terri), and Stanley Gaines (Karen); and her step-children, Brian Hendren, Lola Rena Brock (Eric), Charles Kelly Hendren and James Hendren. She was also blessed with 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
