Margie Slattery

Margie Monroe Slattery, 90, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021. Margie was born in Frankfort on December 16, 1920, the first of eight children of the late Hollis and Offie Hall Monroe. She worked in the Union Underwear factory for 50 years and in her spare time could always be found working in and around her house and yard. Margie was the widow of the late Ernest Slattery. She is survived by her daughter Janice and her son Danny, as well as her siblings Polly, Pat, Ann, Bill, and Jim. She was preceded in death by her brothers Bob and Roy. A time of gathering and a brief service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday in the chapel at Sunset Memorial Gardens
