Lloyd Clatos

Graveside services for Lloyd Clatos, 85, of Frankfort will be Saturday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Bro. Mike Napier will officiate. Social distancing and face coverings are required for the service.

He died Thursday at his home. A native of Paintsville, he was owner and operator of Clatos Refrigeration and member of Choateville Christian Church.

Lloyd loved his church and his family and always handed out candy to everyone he met. He especially loved children who always made him smile. Most importantly he loved the Lord. He loved to feed anyone who came to visit and had a rule that you must eat before you leave his house.

He was the son of Irene Fairchild and Steve Demetre Clatos. Lloyd was preceded in death by his brother Nick and sister Penelopia Clatos Meade. Survivors include his wife Betty Witten Clatos, six children Kathy (Robert) Hutcherson, Steve Clatos, Karen (Scott) Lefler, Jerry (Peggy) Clatos, Gary Clatos, and Penny Clatos Osborn; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Callis, Cody Callis, Derek Callis, Jeremy Clatos, Alan Hutcherson, Tyler Clatos, Stephen Clatos and Larry Lyons. Honorary bearers will be Thomas Lefler and Max Osborn.
