Obituary for Leslie Harrison Rogers
Frankfort - Leslie Harrison Rogers, 72, of Frankfort, died September 4, 2018.

Leslie was the son of the late James Clayton and Marie Caudill Rogers, of Hazard. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Thomas Rogers, and a nephew, James Leslie Rogers.
Mr. Rogers attended Lee's Junior College, Georgetown College, Morehead State University, and later the University of Louisville. After more than 40 years, he retired as the Administrator of the Division of Home Health Services of Appalachian Regional Healthcare. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Frankfort, St. Luke's Presbyterian Church, Titusville, FL and a proud Eagle Scout.

Leslie is survived by his wife of 50 years, Audrey Combs Rogers; a son, Leslie Craig Rogers, Lexington; a son, Christopher Clayton Rogers, Frankfort; and a daughter and son-in-law, Nea and Nick Rodgers, Frankfort. Additionally, he leaves behind seven grandchildren, Garrett Keaton, Gavin Michael, Gabe Harrison and Grayson James, Lexington; Andrew Clayton, New Albany, IN; Mary Clayton and Harrison Scott, Frankfort, and two special nieces; Ginger (Eric) Loy, Jamestown and Donna Rogers, Otisco, IN. He was loved by nine brother- and sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Frankfort on Monday, September 10, 2018. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., immediately followed by the Witness to the Resurrection. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center or the Markey Hematology Program.
