Obituary for John D. Fisher
John D. Fisher, 58, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018. He was born in Harlan County on July 18, 1960 to the late Johnny B. and Eula Payne Fisher. He was employed with the State of Kentucky in maintenance, was a member of Providence Baptist Church, and the Monterey Masonic Lodge # F&A.M.

He is survived by his daughter, Eden Fisher (Ben) Crum, Richmond; his son, Aaron Voris Fisher, Monterey; his longtime companion, Mystic Rayne, Frankfort; his sister, Kathy (Tom) Hughes, Lexington; his step-brother, Johnny (Patty) Jordan, Frankfort; and his grandchildren, Audrey Crum and Matthew Crum.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Serving as casketbearers will be Ricky Hammons, Ben Crum, Phillip Rambo, Jerry Vance, and Roger Smith. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kentucky Special Olympics.
