James Spurgeon

February 20, 1949 — October 29, 2017

James M. (Jimmy) Spurgeon, 68, husband of 48 years to Delia Corman Spurgeon, died Sunday, October 29 at Baptist Healthcare in Lexington. Born February 20, 1949, he was the son of the late James L. and Leona Rose Spurgeon.

(Larissa) Spurgeon of Lexington, a sister, Wanda Spurgeon Parrott of Versailles, eight grandchildren, Emma Gaus, Lydia Gaus, Jonah Gaus, Joshua (Lesley) Stephens, Thomas (Ashley) Stephens, Lacey Stephens, Corey (Breanna) Stephens, six great grandchildren, Mother-in-law, Jo Ann Corman, sister-in-law Melissa Corman, a niece, Karen Boden, nephew Marlon Hutchens, and a great nephew, Jamie Glass.
