James Sharp

Frankfort – James A. “Jim” Sharp Sr., 66, husband of Wanda Sharp, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018. He was born in Scott County on November 25, 1951 to the late Dewey Franklin and Ida Bell Mefford Sharp. He was self-employed as an auto body mechanic. Jim was a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Heather Michelle Sharp, Lawrenceburg; his sons, James Lee (Melissa) Sharp, Frankfort, David Franklin Sharp, Frankfort, and Jeff Tyler Sharp, Cincinnati; his sister, Brenda Powers, Georgetown; his brothers, Billy Sharp, Owenton, and Danny Sharp, Georgetown; and his grandchildren, Kinsley Hatchell, Tyler Sharp, Alexis Hatchell, Olivia Sharp, Will Henderson, and Ciara Henderson.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Pastor Tom Mefford will be officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 7:00pm on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
