James Long

Mr. Long died Tuesday afternoon at his home. He worked as a spreader for Union Underwear and later as a parts clerk for Overnight Transport. James was also a member of Versailles Church of God. He was an avid family man and loved his church.
The son of the late Mary Elizabeth Hudson and Thomas Long, he was preceded in death by his son, Tracy Long, grandson, Justin Gaines, 4 brothers and 6 sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Ruth M. Long, son, Eric Long (Tara Black), and daughter, Teresa (Phillip) Grimes, both of Frankfort; grandsons, Joshua and Zachary Gaines, Jason and Luke Long, granddaughters, Gracie Long, McKenzie, Lexie and Brooklyn White, and great-grandson, Justin Gaines.
