Services for Idaleen K. VanGieson, 62, of Lititz, PA, formerly of Frankfort, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home with Vernon Carpenter officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
Idaleen went to meet the Lord last Wednesday morning, March 27, 2019. A native of Frankfort, she graduated from Franklin County High School and later from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in Medical Records Technology. She was a former employee at Southern Molding and O.E. Atwood in Frankfort. Idaleen loved her family and her little dog, Simon. She had an eye for design and was great at interior decorating.
Daughter of the late Lorena and John Krystofik, Sr., she is preceded in death by her brother, Michael D. Krystofik. Survivors include her husband, James VanGieson; children, Christopher A. Geher, and Samantha A. (Scott L.) Goheen; granddaughter, Madelyn G. Goheen; sister, Suzanne (Kermit) Gaines; brother, John Krystofik, Jr.; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Simon Bristol.
