Ida Traylor

Ida Lanter Traylor, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Born in Bourbon County on June 5, 1922 to the late Jess Lanter and the late Mary Bell Crump. She was retired from Franklin County Public School as Cafeteria manager. She was the oldest member of North Fork Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by two infant sons and her husband of 64 years William Howard (Bill) Traylor.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Carpenter (Ernie); two grandchildren, Wesley Todd Carpenter (Kim) and Laura Mae Carpenter; five great grandchildren, Dustin, Brennan, Isaac, Abby, and Olivia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass or the Alzheimer's Association.
