Hazel Burton

Hazel J. Burton, age 90, and the widow of Earl P. Burton, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 30, 1927, in Woodford County to the late Bennie and Francis Barnes. She was a member of Buck Run Baptist Church and retired from National Distillery. In her later years she enjoyed her morning and evening television shows, and spending time with friends and family.
Hazel is survived by her son, Earl W. Burton (Georgeann); daughter, Denise Hancock; four grandchildren, Brian Burton, Christa Burton, Martin Hancock, Mathew Hancock and two great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James E. Barnes and Bobby W. Barnes; and one sister, Mary E. Hulker (Johnny).
