Hattie Norton

Ms. Norton was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on April 12, 1932, to the late Oda Shelton and Elizabeth Manns Ritchie. She retired from housekeeping with the Kentucky State Government Department of Finance. Ms. Norton loved life - always laughing and ready to have a good time. Most of all, she shared her love through baking; giving cookies and cakes to everyone she could. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren and nieces and nephews dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Edward Ritchie, Ben Ritchie, Jean Shryock, Margie Lafoe, and Mallie Purvis.
She is survived by her two loving daughters, Madeline Brewer and Alice Norton; granddaughter, Pamela Sparks; great-grandchildren, Nick and Madi Sparks; siblings, Stanley Ritchie, Raymond Ritchie, Edie Pipkins, and Catherine Cloyd. She was also blessed with numerous nieces and nephews.
