Obituary for Frank L. Wilkerson

Frankfort - Frank L. Wilkerson, 94, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018. He was born in New Albany, IN to the late Orlie and Thelma Vick Wilkerson. He was the Founder of Frank Wilkerson and Son HVAC and was a veteran of the US Navy. He served in WWII. Frank was the longest member of East Frankfort Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children, Judy Bowman, SC, Gary Wilkerson, Frankfort, and Mary Ann Bradles, Shelbyville; his sisters, Idell Sego, Glendale, and Leona Smith, Frankfort; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Wilkerson; and son, Bobby Wilkerson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at East Frankfort Baptist Church. Rev. Kyle McDanell will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Eddie Bowman, Chris Bowman, Joshua Wilkerson, Nathan Bradley, Caroline Wilkerson, and Brian Karsner. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the church. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to East Frankfort Baptist Church.
