Florence Wright Wells

Florence Marie Wright Wells, 78, wife of James L. Wells, passed away August 2, 2020 at The Lantern in Frankfort, KY.  Born November 3, 1941 in Frankfort, Florence was the daughter of the late Cecil Wright, Sr., and Gladys Johnson Wright.

A retired employee of Square D in Lexington, Florence was a graduate of Woodford County High School and a member of the New Life Christian Fellowship Church in Lawrenceburg.

Including her husband, Florence is survived by two children, Dana S. Peddicord of Leland, NC and David Allen Roe of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren, Nicole Peddicord of Wilmington, NC, Zachary Roe of South Carolina, and Jacob Roe of Lawrenceburg.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ann Hatchell, Cecil Wright, Jr., and Melvin Douglas Wright.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6th from 11 am – 1 pm followed immediately by the service beginning at 1:00 pm at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Bro. Garrett Franklin will officiate the service.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort, KY.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Hagger, Burt Hahn, Alan Riley, Gary Morrow, Ron Stewart, and Bradley Drury.
