Dorothy Bailey Ellis, 75, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017. She was born in Bramer, MO on March 11, 1942 to the late Orville Bailey and Mary Hortensteine. She worked with social services for Bluegrass Community Action Agency, a member of Versailles Presbyterian Church, and a previous member of Versailles Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, James D. (Kimberly) Ellis, FL; and Michael T. (Cindy) Ellis, Taylorsville; her sister Virginia Bailey, NV; and her grandchildren Kennedy Ellis; Justin Ellis; and Emma Ellis.
Funeral Information
A celebration of life will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd followed by a Gathering of Friends and Family from 4:30pm until 7:00pm. Rev. Keith Benze will officiate.
Donations Information
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bluegrass Care Navigators.
