Dorothy Cummins

Mrs. Cummins was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on February 12, 1937 to the late Green Berry and Miranda Brown Brashear. She was united in marriage to William Claude Cummins, of Frankfort. She retired as a cook from Collins Lane Elementary, where she enjoyed cooking and providing for children. She showed her love for family and friends through her baking. She enjoyed fishing and loved her garden and flowers. She was kind-hearted, and enjoyed taking care of others.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, William C. Cummins, Jr., Jeffrey Cummins, James A. Cummins (Debbie), Cynthia S.C. Rice, and Tina M. Cummins; two sisters; 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and several loving pet companions.
