Bobby Wainscott

Bobby was born in Owen County on July 31, 1948, to the late Raymond and Ruby Prather Wainscott. He worked at Fruit of the Loom for 32 years and Certified Tool for nearly 10 years. After retirement, he enjoyed working on his friends' farms, spending time outdoors and doing projects. He was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. He was a kind and caring man who lived to help others. He loved watching Gunsmoke and Andy Griffith. Above all, he loved his family and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Perkins Wainscott; children, Tina Stephens (Anthony); Lisa Wainscott; and Lori Good (Max); grandchildren, Cory Anderson, Lindsey Stephens, Logan Stephens, Dylan Stephens, Camden Good, Savannah Good, and Colton Good; siblings, Kenneth Wainscott of Owenton, Kentucky, Jackie Wainscott of Rainsville, Alabama, Darrell Wainscott (Gloria) of Cincinnati, Ohio; Jerry Wainscott (Barbara) of Owenton, Kentucky; and Brenda Jones (Artie) of Union, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Dorothy Perkins, Viola Wainscott, Wanda Newman, Joyce Stathers, and Frankie Wainscott.
