Ben Wise

Ben T. Wise, 91, husband of Evelyn Wise, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. A native of Frankfort, he was born on December 18, 1926 to the late Willie W. and Evie Barker Wise. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served in WWII. Mr. Wise was a Sunday School Teacher and a Deacon at Memorial Baptist Church on Holmes St. He was a Boy Scout leader for Troop 126 for 30 years, an Eagle Scout and earned the Good Shepard Award. He was also a member of the VFW Post #4075, a member of the KY Stamp Club, and an officer with AARP.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Teresa (Joe) Brown, Frankfort, and Geri (Billy) Reinle, Lawrenceburg; his son, Tommy (Scottie) Wise, Lawrenceburg; his sister, Opal Tillett, Frankfort; his grandchildren, David Humphress, Mary Evelyn Reinle, Martin Wise, and Melanie Wise; and several great grandchildren.
