Allen Redman Jr

Mr. Redman was born in Frankfort on July 2, 1925 to the late Allen William Redman, Sr., and Rosene Wooldridge Redman. He was united in marriage to his loving wife of 65 years, Ruby Katherine Honaker Redman, who also preceded him in death. He worked at Genesco for 33 years, and retired from Kentucky State Government Department of Transportation. He was a loving Christian man and a member of Heritage Baptist Church. He enjoyed all kinds of sports, especially bowling, in which he won a national championship. He was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan. Above all, he loved his family, and was the best dad and grandfather anyone could have.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Michael William Redman and 3 siblings.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Charlene Kinnard; grandchildren, Carol Keil, Timothy Younger and Michelle Younger; great-grandchildren, Heather Perkins, Lauren Miller, Alyssa Keil, and Christopher Keil; great-great grandchildren, Mattilynn Perkins, Gabriel Perkins and Landon Miller and sister, Kathleen Masters.
