Obituary for Aileen Todd McClain
Frankfort- Aileen Todd McClain, 88, widow of C.A. “Bud” McClain, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019. She was born in Versailles, Kentucky to the late Martin and Mattie Lee Carter Todd on May 27, 1931. Mrs. McClain was a member, elder and trustee for First Presbyterian Church in Frankfort. She retired from the American Red Cross Disaster Service as a Records and Reports Officer. Mrs. McClain was a former board member for Frankfort Regional Medical Center, Silent Workers of Kings Daughter, along with numerous other volunteer activities she enjoyed doing. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Lee (Danny) Ernst, Brandenburg, Ruthanne (Gary) Marshall, Lexington and Linda Journay, Lexington; son in law, Larry Baxter, Lawrenceburg; sister, Joyce Goodrich, Versailles; 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Joanie Baxter.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday November 13, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Red Cross Disaster Service or Bluegrass Hospice Care.
