Adriel M. Harrod, Sr, 85, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017. Husband to the late Sue Harrod, he was born December 27, 1931 in Shelbyville, KY to the late William and Iola Kistner Harrod. Adriel was a US Army and US Navy veteran serving during the Korean War.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca D. Bowman, Frankfort; sons, Adriel M. Harrod, Jr, Frankfort, Gregory T. Harrod, Frankfort, and Jeffery T. Weber, Versailles; grandchildren, Abigail Weber, Devin Harrod, Jack Southerland, Jade Weber, Zeke Harrod, and Skyler Bowman.
Funeral Information
A funeral service will be held 1:00pm, Monday, August 28, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd., officiated by Bill Hartung, with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Jeff Harrod, Shaun Harrod, Willie Harrod, Jake Jones, Mark Girkey, and Greg Dempsey will serve as pallbearers. A visitation will be held Monday, from 11:00am until time of service, at the funeral home.
